The 230-acre community is centered around the 15.5 acre harbour, and offers condo and villa living, waterfront dining, shopping, entertainment, and spectacular views all year round.

Upon entering Shelter Cove, you are greeted by a 12-foot bronze statue of King Neptune, one of the world’s largest working sundials. The marina has a 170-slip yacht basin and the Ship’s Store, which offers a full line of sporting goods, clothing, and accessories. Visitors and local residents can enjoy a wide range of watersports from deep sea and in-shore fishing charters to kayaking, sailing, and dinner cruises.

Shelter Cove Harbour has over 20 shops and a wide variety of dining options. Nearby Shelter Cove Plaza also offers a wonderful selection of retail, dining, and professional services. Next to the Plaza is the Shelter Cove Towne Centre, formerly Shelter Cove Mall, which offers even more great restaurants and shops. The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, the island’s premier performing arts theatre, is adjacent to Shelter Cove. Behind the Shelter Cove Plaza is the Shelter Cove Community Park, a popular venue for community events and concerts, and home to Hilton Head’s Veterans’ Memorial.
